ACS Industries India Pvt Ltd. Brings Clean Potable Water to Local School
Clean water is a fundamental necessity, yet many schools face challenges in ensuring a clean water supply. The Pragati Vidyalaya (Pragati school) Loni Deokar, Pune India has long grappled with issues related to clean potable water which posed health risks to students and school staff.
Recognizing this pressing issue, and keeping in line with spirit of ACS Industries Inc’s Corporate social responsibility Initiatives, ACS Industries Pvt. Ltd in India collaborated with school administrators to address the problem effectively and donated a new state of the art water filtration facility, capable of removing harmful contaminants and ensuring a steady supply of potable water. This development not only enhances the school’s infrastructure but also promotes the health and well-being of children and communities. This contribution will ensure clean drinking water for the 250 school students as well as teachers and staff of the school on a daily basis.
The water purification plant inauguration ceremony was held on date 15th January 2025, Wednesday in the presence of Mrs. Wendy Buckler, Mr. Steven Buckler’ Chairman & CEO of ACS Industries, Mr. Ryan Abranovic’ Sr. Vice President, Mr. Prithviraj Nath’ Country Head and other representatives of ACS India.
Mr. Steven Buckler, Mrs. Wendy Buckler and Mr. Ryan Abranovic also distributed chocolates to the school children and had short interactions with them.
During the ceremony, Mr. Steven Buckler’ Chairman & CEO of ACS Industries expressed their commitment to support local community in education and health initiatives.
The donation of the water purification plant marks a significant milestone for the school. It demonstrates how thoughtful contributions can address critical issues and improve the quality of life for many in our local community.
